Welcome, sister. If you’ve found your way here, you’re likely a woman who’s tired of trying to keep it all together. Same here. Grit and Grace Gals was born out of a deep desire for a space where we can walk in truth—not perfection. A space for women who love Jesus but still feel messy, unsure, overwhelmed, hopeful, and human… all at the same time.

Because let’s be honest: life as daughters of Christ is a beautiful mix of sacred grace and hard-fought grit. Most of us are living right there in the in-between—feeling God’s goodness while navigating life’s weight. And that space? It’s holy ground, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

The Myth of the “Put-Together Christian Woman”

For years, I carried the quiet fear that I was the only one who didn’t have it all figured out. You know the feeling—sitting in the pew, looking around, thinking, “She knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s spiritually strong. She’s confident. She’s calm.”

But the truth? She’s struggling too, maybe not in the same way, but in some way. We all are.

Christian women have spent far too long trying to look perfect instead of being real. We’ve become experts at dressing up our broken places and keeping our doubts quiet so no one sees the cracks. But God shines right through our cracks. And in this space, we let Him.

Why Being Real Matters More Than Being Perfect

God never asked us to be polished. He asked us for honesty. He wants the heart behind the mask, not the mask itself.

When we show up with our actual, lived experiences—the fears we tuck away, the dreams we’re afraid to admit, the struggles we whisper about—something powerful happens: grace grows roots.

Vulnerability produces connection. Connection produces healing. Healing produces freedom.

And sister, we are made for freedom.

The Sacred Dance of Grit and Grace

At any given moment, we’re carrying both.

Grit is the strength God gives us to push through the hard parts—the faith to get out of bed when your heart is heavy, the courage to pray when you don’t have the words, the persistence to trust when the story doesn’t make sense.

Grace is the softness God lays over our lives—the reminder that we don’t have to do it all, the reassurance that we don’t have to be enough because He is, the gentle whisper that even here, even now, you are loved.

We need both. We live in both. And God works beautifully through both.

What You’ll Find Here

This blog—and this community—is a home for the women who want more than surface-level faith. The women who want to dig deeper, ask questions, and walk with Jesus in the realness of life.

Here, you’ll find:

🌿 Stories of women walking through the mess and the miracle

🌿 Honest conversations about faith, fear, identity, calling, healing, and hope

🌿 Encouragement rooted in Scripture, not pressure

🌿 A sisterhood that gets it—one that prays together, laughs together, and grows together

🌿 Space to breathe, reflect, and belong

This isn’t a place for perfectly packaged testimonies. It’s a place where God uses imperfect stories to show His perfect love.

You Belong in This Story

Maybe you’re stepping into a new season. Maybe you’re trying to survive the current one. Maybe you’re rebuilding your faith or rediscovering who you are in Christ. Wherever you are—this space has a seat for you.

You don’t have to clean up to come in. You don’t have to fix yourself before you share. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay when you’re not.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you need. Grow as God leads.

Because here, you’re not alone. You are seen. You are valued. You are deeply, unconditionally loved.

And together—through grit, through grace, through honesty, and through Jesus—we’ll walk this journey as sisters.

Welcome to the beginning of something beautiful.Welcome to Grit and Grace Gals.

MORE ABOUT ME...I'm a little gritty

For years, I sat in pews and circled through seasons believing I might be the only one who didn’t fit the picture of “the perfect Christian woman.” I’d look around and think, “She’s got it all figured out.” But the truth? No one does. We’re all carrying something. We’re all wrestling with something. And we all need Jesus—desperately, daily, and honestly.

I created Grit and Grace Gals because I longed for a place where women could show up exactly as they are: hopeful but hurting, joyful but exhausted, faithful but sometimes full of questions. A place where vulnerability isn’t just welcome—it’s celebrated. Because God does some of His best, most transformative work in the raw, unpolished parts of our lives.
